Supervised 16 coaches for 9 sports
Played a major role in restarting varsity football (Stillman College suspended football in the 1950s)
Assembled the college's medical team for football (4 physicians, 1 orthopedic physician, licensed and certified athletic trainer, nurse practitioner plus assistants and support staff)
Negotiated contract with Rehab Associates/Tuscaloosa Therapy to handle all the college's athletic trainer and physical therapy needs
Played a major role in negotiating and expanding insurance coverage for football
Developed winning bid for several thousand dollars worth of surplus weight room equipment
Assisted with the planning and development of the first football media guide
Researched and recommended various football season and game day ticket plans and prices
Negotiated with vendors for season tickets and game day tickets
Led the search and screening process during the selection of a head football coach
Solicited equipment & supplies from major universities to assist the start-up of football
Developed and contracted the football home and home schedule for the first four years
A member of the steering committee which developed the new NCAA Division III Great South Athletic Conference
